BSCS Billing Development Consultants - Germany

Objectives: · Design and implement solutions based on requirements

· Implement performance critical solutions in a multi-layered software environment.

· Analyze new requirements, write design documents and implement features in a team with architects, developers, testers and documentation. · Develop solutions and estimate customer requirements.

· Support other departments in customer projects or with knowledge transfer.

· Support Projects at customer site.

Candidate Profile:

· Must a European Union national, fluent in spoken and written English, Knowledge German would be an advantage

· Will posses around a total of 5 years in Information Technology in development profile

· Will possess a minimum of 3 to 4 years in Telecommunications BSS (BSCS) implementation experience

· Intensive travel is possible, in order to support and consult customers worldwide.

Functional Knowledge

· Should be strong in telecom billing fundamentals like CDR collection, correlation, rating and billing.

· Familiar with over all BSCS architecture, products, service tariffs and Interfaces

· Should be well versed in Billing system implementation project lifecycle

Technical Skills

· C++, Java - Mandatory

· CORBA skills - Desirable

· Experience in Web Programming - Mandatory

· Knowledge of Web Services – Desirable

· Oracle SQL and stored procedures - Mandatory

· Unix shell scripting - Mandatory

· Experience with ORM tools preferable Toplink - Mandatory

· Quick learner with the ability to do work himself into new business areas, programming patterns and languages.

· Team player, self employed, communication skills, creative, abilities to abstract, ability to transfer knowledge
